Exhibits—
Nick's oil painting "Ascension" (30 X 36) has been selected by the Society of Animal Artists (NYC) for their 43rd annual "Art and the Animal" exhibit. The opening exhibit will be at The Hiram Blauvelt Museum in Oradell, New JerseySeptember 19-21 and then move to the W
ildlife Experience Museum in Denver, Colorado.

The West Valley Art Museum in Surprise, Arizona is currently exhibiting 20 of Nick's works on paper (brush & inks, etchings and wood engravings) in a one-man exhibition of "A Wild Life" by Nick Wilson.

Projects—
Nick will be starting a Bronze monument for the University of Arizona in Tucson in the fall of 2003. The bronze will be approximately 71/2 feet in height and will depict two adult Bobcats and two Bobcat kittens—the University would like to convey “family” on campus with “The Wildcat Family” monument.


Collections—
Nick’s oil painting “Home of the Desert Rat” (36 X 40) was purchased in April by the Booth Western Art Museum in Cartersville, Georgia. The 80,000 square foot Booth Museum will open in June and showcase a wonderful collection of western art such as—Remington, Russell, Terpning, McCarthy, Hill, etc. Nick is very pleased to be added to this fine collection.

National Tours—
“Promise of Nightfall” (Gouache on panel, 20 X 30) is being exhibited in the Society of Animal Artists: ART and the ANIMAL tour visiting four different museums

Workshops—
ANIMAL PAINTING with NICHOLAS WILSON- October 6 through October10, 2003 (9am – 4pm) at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum (ASDM) in Tucson. Nick will share with students the making of a painting from its initial concept through reference gathering to a completed studio creation in the medium of their choice in this five day workshop. $745 ($675 members).
